This month is celebrated as The 20th Anniversary of "Exile In Guyville" the debut album from Liz Phair. This brings out a lot of memories of the year 1993. MTV Alternative Nation, 120 Mins, Phoenix Suns, Super Nintendo, and of course batch of female alt-rockers like PJ Harvey, Heather Nova, and Liz Phair.
Liberated in lyrics and self expression in interviews, Liz Phair became one of hot chicks with guitars in the 90s. Surprisingly, while most of the 90s acts have become disbanded or gone hiatus, LIz Phair is proven to be a survivor. She's been releasing good albums in the noughties, and still pretty relevant to today's music.
And yes, Liz Phair is still hot after all these years :)
Time to grab this vintage Liz Phair "April 1995" t-shirt here, it's not a Guyville one but still....
